Nasan, those little light i did with the shape tool…take a look at the link below, I got inspired to try this technique by Sparth, and he has a great tutorial on the subject at CA.org. He does a pretty good job explaining his thought process behind the tool:

I’ve been paying attention to your last several paintings and trying to figure out how you’re doing things. I really like the shapes you use to build things with. -like the cool busy texture you used for the ship’s lights. How do you do that? It really looks cool.
