X-COM nostalgia

Ah memories.  Came across this nice little article celebrating X-COM, one of my favorite games of all time.  You can download the game off of steam for like 5 bucks, and although the art looks basic by today’s standards, it’s still a fantastic gaming experience that I highly recommend, especially if you’ve never played it.  It’s old, but has no problem besting most ‘modern’ games in terms of design, tension, and atmosphere. I bring this up because I recently heard some company is making a ‘reboot’ of X-COM.  This is either a very great or very horrible idea…I guess I’ll reserve judgment until I actually see some stuff from it. Fingers crossed.
