I’m really jealous of how efficient these feel. The way you haven’t needed to finish every pose, suggest the hands or feet, or just mark make using shadows feels very fresh.
What do you think you learned the most from life drawing this year?
thanks Jake! that’s a good question….I think efficiency is a big one, and something you pointed out, so that’s good it’s showing but yeah, doing more with less is always something im thinking about. Also I was really trying to be conscious of shape design in the figures, and have more fun designing in general, using the model for reference and not trying to copy. So I think i started to learn a little more about shapes this year, particularly when it comes to figure/anatomy design.
